We greet you in Jesus’ name, from a very peaceful and fulfilled Shalom Ministries.

Hi,

We trust this newsletter finds you well, growing closer to our Heavenly Father and experiencing His blessings in your life daily.

Below, please find the latest letter Angus has written. The Lord Jesus has laid a special message on his heart for you.

May it be a blessing to you,
The Shalom Team.

Dear Friends

We greet you in Jesus' name, from a very peaceful and fulfilled Shalom Ministries.

It is so good to be home again after having just returned from the UK. There is no place like home. Can you imagine what it is going to be like one day, when we are in our Heavenly Home? I cannot wait for that day! In the meantime, we need to continue to run the race, to fight the good fight and to be ready for that call.

I believe the reason the Lord has not come yet, is because there are those who still need to hear the Gospel. There can be no other reason. The Lord has promised us that when every person has heard the Truth, He will come again. In this day and age, with modern technology, this is becoming more and more possible.

We leave for Nashville, Tennessee on the 13th November. The second MMC in the USA will take place in the Bridgestone indoor arena on the 17th November. The organisers are expecting 20 000 men. I really believe this meeting will be significant. I also believe it is a new chapter in our lives at Shalom. It was 24 years ago, on the very same date (17th November), when the Lord spoke to me in my heart saying, if we have the faith to go out and book halls and stadiums, He will fill them. He has done just that in the past! Now, this is a new continent, it is a new challenge and it is a new beginning. Please keep us in your prayers.

I am very excited about our two new books which have just been released. Our brand new daily devotional, Now Is The Time and The Booth, a book all about spending time with the Lord. I spent much time writing this book and I trust you will be blessed and challenged by it. It is so important to spend time with God. I believe that 90% of all of our problems are because we do not spend quality time with our Maker. Let us get our priorities back in order and see the difference that it will make in our lives.

At our children's home, we have three matrics writing their final exams at the moment. Please keep them in your prayers. Our children are growing up so quickly and Jill, along with "Baba" Zondi, Nici and our housemothers are doing an outstanding job. We thank God for the privilege of raising His children in our home. I am convinced again that God is not interested in how we start, but He is more concerned about how we finish. I would like to encourage you to finish the job you have started and God will do the rest.

Our media team is growing from strength to strength and we thank God for the road that He has put us on. With media, we are able to reach the corners of this world. As I travel more and more, I realise how the Lord has made it possible to bring us all closer together through cyberspace.

We are also very grateful to you for keeping us in your prayers. We thank God for Leon & Lorna Vermeulen, who have taken up the role as our intercessors. We really love and appreciate them. They have a heart to reach the heart of our Heavenly Father. They are effective and fervent in their prayers and intercession for you. James 5:14-16.

Remember, without prayer nothing happens. Jill and I know that the success of this ministry is because of the effective prayers, prayed by many for us.

Yours in Christ
Angus, Jill & the Shalom team
